Proximities Dynamics | Deep Dive

Proximities Dynamics is a model of measuring and assessing behaviour in relative distances - so that we can get a better understanding of how your dog feels and what their issues are. There are four ‘zones’ which we refer to when talking about proximities. Intimate Space (touch), Personal Space (1 metre), Social Space (5 metres) and Public space, outside of those zones. By studying what your dog can do, cannot do, and feels that they need to do at each of these relative distances, we can get a much better understanding of where the root of a behaviour is coming from.
