Welcome 2020!
It’s been an incredibly fun and busy year for me and Charlie, and as 2020 creeps into existence, we wanted to take a change to thank everyone who we have had the pleasure of visiting over this last year - and keep you updated on what we are planning for the new year.
NEW FOR 2020:
Phone call bookings with Acuity.
One of the big things I wanted to work on for this year was making it as easy as possible for our new and existing clients to be able to call. We all live incredibly busy lives, and with much of my time either on the road or out and about with Charlie, it can be really difficult to find the right time. New for 2020, there is now a call booking system built right into the website, which means you can pick a time that suits you - fill in a few details, reserve your slot - and your appointment is sent straight to my calendar! I’m going to be trialling this system for the next couple of months and ironing out any creases - but it should make a big different for you guys and I’m hoping you’ll really benefit!
Very.Important.Dogs (VID) Scheme - Launching in February 2020
One of the other changes I am making is the introduction of my VID scheme for those dogs and their owners who want extra support outside of their sessions. It’s my way of keeping a closer eye and checking in more regularly to those who need it, and enabling you to text, email, or WhatsApp me videos and updates of your training so I can see how you’re getting on. It’s completely free, and means you can opt in and out as you want.
Session Booklets - Launching Spring 2020
With the extra time dedicated to call bookings and my VIDS scheme, I will be putting a pause on the session write ups. The feedback has been that the benefit my clients receive from these is mixed, depending on how we each choose to learn - and in their current form, they are time intensive for the benefit they offer, compared to those clients who prefer to text, email or WhatsApp.
I will be producing a larger prewritten e-booklet for spring 2020 - which will offer a greater depth of information for anyone who loves a good read, and wants to be able to digest information at their own pace. The aim here is to provide content that covers techniques in greater detail, with a more complete and rounded view of the work you are doing with me in your sessions!
